Macon Users Group
Computer Club - Meetings are the second Tuesday of the month in the Community Building across from the Whistlestop Mall. Visit our homepage.

The Macon Users Group (MUG) is a PC oriented support group in the mountains of Western North Carolina.

The Franklin Garden Club
This active club will have its August meeting on Monday, August 4th at the Community Center. A social hour begins at 1:30 and then the official meeting begins at 2 PM. The club President, Sylvia Everett, will present the business meeting, which will consist mainly of changing some of the old by-laws. The members will vote upon these changes. Some of the clubs projects will be discussed: such as the care of Rankin Square and the Clock Tower. The Club will also participate in the County Fair, September 9th - 15th, will displays from local garden growers. The speaker for this meeting will be Lisa Pastell, who will discuss perennials and wildflowers in Western North Carolina.
